Robert Alviso was arrested Sunday evening for Aggravated Assault in San Saba County.

A 911 call reported that a man had allegedly pulled a knife and hand gun on an individual and threatened them with the weapon. San Saba City Police, San Saba Deputies and Texas Parks and Wildlife caught up with Alviso on HWY 109 west of Sloan Road, and he was taken into custody by the City Police Department.

Alviso is in the San Saba County Jail facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and warrants out of another county.

San Saba City Police Officer Jimmy Hill and Sgt. Dwayne Shaw are currently working on the investigation.

Sheriff Brown stated that within minutes of the 911 call and the attempt to locate the suspect, seven different law enforcement units were searching for the suspect and with a tip from a concerned citizen, he was located and arrested without incident.
