After a few more days of winter weather, we are now having spring temperatures. The days of sunshine are very welcome. We have a slight chance for rain later this week. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
Something happened to our newsletter last week. It was sent from our computer but didn’t make the paper for some reason . The 42 tournament was rescheduled from last Saturday night to this Friday night. It will still be held at Shiloh. The change in the date was due to the passing of Butch Webb’s mother. We send our sympathy to the family.
We were sorry to hear of the passing of Janice Simpson Pruett in a Temple hospital. Her services will be Saturday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Early. We send our sympathy to Janice’s family.
The community meeting will be this Saturday night at 7:30 pm. Please make every effort to attend and take part in keeping our community going. Those attending are asked to bring finger foods.
Marilyn Suber enjoyed an outing Saturday with Amy Tucker and the kids. They all went to San Angelo for the day with Stacie and Sophia Elizondo. They had a good day of shopping and visiting and playing with the baby. Bethany and I held down the fort back home.
