Help us welcome our new Music Ministers
Thursday, February 17, 2011 • Posted February 17, 2011

Pastor Bruce Craig and the congregation of The Church of the Open Door would like to issue an invitation to everyone to attend Sunday morning Worship service with us (February 20, 2011) and help welcome our new ministers of music, Ty and LaRaye Kelly.

After the service a delicious lunch will be served. So come enjoy old fashion Gospel Hymns, good preaching and fellowship.

The Kelly's and their son T.J. live in Mullin Texas. Ty started in the Lords work at the age of 18, as a youth minister at Friendship Baptist Church in Irving Texas. It was in Irving he met and married LaRaye. Together they have worked in music education, bus ministry, and day school.

In 1975 they set out on a step in faith and started the Guiding Light Evangelistic Association over the next 15 years. God blessed their ministry and hundreds of lost souls have come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

In 1991, Ty and LaRaye started a supervisory long term care home for mentally disabled adults in Mullin Texas. Their vision is to provide care for mentally disabled adults.

They now teach voice and musical instruments in their home at New Hope Lifestyles in Mullin.

Again, come worship with us and enjoy good old fashion hymns, good preaching and fellowship and a good meal.

The Church is located about 3 miles north on Highway 16. Church Service begins at 11:00 a.m.
