Linda Hubbert Locklear

Linda Hubbert Locklear, 58, of Alvord, Texas, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 3, 1952 in San Saba, Texas, the daughter of Rena and Edgar Hubbert. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. On February 1, 1980, Linda and Dale Locklear were married in San Saba. Their home has been in Alvord for the past several years.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dale Locklear; one son, Scott Locklear; one daughter, Ambra Locklear; three grandchildren, Jordan Locklear, Jarett Locklear, and Daidrian Locklear, all of Alvord, TX; four step-daughters; nine step-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Graves of Kerrville, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kenneth Hubbert; and one sister, Louise Brewer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at the San Saba Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
