Receipts totaled 3572 head for the week. The market continued its strong tone after the last 2 weeks large advance with stocker steers and heifers selling steady to $2 higher and feeder steers and heifers steady to $2 higher. Packer cows and bulls were $2 higher. Top packer cows brought 76 cwt and top packer bulls sold for 89 cwt. Pairs and bred cows were $100-$150 higher. The 40 plus young bulls were in strong demand with the top selling Charolais bull going for $3400 and the top Angus bull selling for $3100.
