Do you know what it might feel like to have worked so hard to reach the Olympics then to have a misstep, a fall, injury or a bad start? When they miss their mark, they have to wait four years to redeem themselves. They had such hopes and aspirations, then suddenly their gone. Something went wrong that they never expected.

Do you ever have great ideals about your Christian life? You set out to read the Bible every day, pray every day, do some good for others every day. Then something comes up. Time goes by. You missed the mark, and your hopes and aspirations fade away.

Hebrews 10:17:

The commentators for the Olympics constantly remind the athletes of the past that they would just as soon forget. Yet, we have a God that not only forgives us of our sins, but He doesn’t bring them up anymore.

"Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."
