Nancy E. King

Nancy E. King, 80, of Wichita Falls, TX passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at her residence.

Nancy was born on September 15, 1930 in Preston, Iowa to Edward Janssen and Esther Butterworth. Nancy graduated from the Iowa State Teachers College in 1951 with a degree in Physical Education. She taught in Oelwein, Iowa for three years where she met John Mason King.Nancy and John were united in marriage in Preston, Iowa and remained married for fifty three years until December 23, 2006 when John passed away. John was a Master Sgt. in the Air Force and he and Nancy were stationed in Maryland, Japan, Texas, Spain and Hawaii. Nancy taught Physical Education in San Antonio, TX and later retired at Hart Graphics in Austin, TX where she worked for over twenty years. Nancy was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Nancy was survived by, her daughters, Sumi King and her husband David J. Cerreta of Wichita Falls, TX and Tracy Kozah and her husband Ghassan of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Foaud Constatin Kozah, Khalil Alexandre Kozah, Ariana Lorrane Cerreta and Alessandra Kira Cerreta; her sister, Mildred Janssen Clarkson Freyer of Preston, IA. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, John Mason King.

Services will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to the River Band Nature Center, 2200 3rd Street Preston, Iowa 76301.
