Receipts totaled 1877 head for the week. The market continued its aggressive tone that started on Monday after seeing future prices over the holidays reaching record levels. The industry looks to have the smallest cow herd numbers since 1956. Stocker steers sold a full $10 higher with stocker heifers selling $7 to $10 higher. Feeder steers were in strong demand selling $7 to $10 higher while feeder heifers sold $5 to $7 higher. Packer cows sold $5 to $7 higher with the top selling cows at $73 and packer bulls going $5 higher with the top bull selling $79.50.

: choice lightweight calves 120-145, choice medium weight calves 115-130, choice heavyweight calves 108-118
