John 1:1-3 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made."

These first three verses of the great apostle John's gospel contains the greatest message that can be found in your Bible. They give a clear description of three questions concerning Jesus Christ that are beautifully explained, and extremely important for all people and especially Christians to understand and accept while in this flesh life. They clearly show the Who, What and most important, the Why Jesus Christ is. May we abbreviate to say the (three W's of Christ)."

If you are asked who is Christ you will probably answer, He is the only begotten Son of God. That is a good answer, but it would take a book length to fully explain what that means. Almighty God could have had millions of sons if He desired, but Jesus was all He needed and all He wanted to reveal His plan for the way He wants this life in flesh to be lived. Jesus is the only one who has lived it without sin. Think about that, it is God's plan.

Then let us consider the What Christ is. John told us He was the Word of God. Every individual person has their word, and God has His Word also. You are recognized by your word. If your word is not truthful and honest you will not be recognized as an honest person. Your word represents exactly what you are, and God's Word represents exactly what God it.

Then John goes further and tells "the Word was God". It is important to understand this. If your word is extra good and you have children, you will automatically wish for them to live like your word identifies you, and will also identify them. But all we can do is hope they will live according to our word. But, dear friends, God had the power to actually give life to His Word and His Word became the life of Jesus Christ. God's Word represents everything God is and all He stands for. Hence, that is what Jesus is.

Again, it would take a book length to fully explain this. But now may we consider the most important of these three W's of Christ, being the "Why" is Christ? As the Word of God, Jesus was with God in the beginning and everything that was made was made by the perfect Word of God which became Christ. That shows God made nothing without it being by His perfect Word, and of course God had a perfect plan for making everything that will ever exist. The last thing God made was a man and a woman for man. They are the children of God and God wants them to live according to His Word. That is exactly why God sent Christ Who is the Word of God to be the example and pattern for life that God wants all to live. Then to make sure, God's wisdom gave Christ the power to be the Savior for all who will accept Him as their example and pattern to live this flesh life.

Study this and make sure Christ is your example for how to live in the flesh and he will be your Savior to give you an eternal life that God's Word promises. Believe that and accept it.
