Coyote Pride

Faculty and staff returned to school on January 3rd for a work day. Students returned to school on Tuesday, January 4th.

The second half of the year will pass quickly, with emphasis on upcoming TAKS testing.

The Coyote Hardwood Basketball Classic was a success. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this tournament a success.

Both the Coyotes and the Lady Coyotes won both of their games in the tournament. The Lady Coyotes are 7/5 on the season and 0/2 in district play.

The varsity boys are 3/0 on the season and 1/0 in district. Both teams traveled to Menard on Tuesday, and will travel to Lometa on Friday for district action.

Come out and watch these young athletes participate in UIL competition, you won’t be disappointed.

The San Saba Stock Show begins next week. School releases early on Thursday, Jan. 13th; and there is no school on Friday, January 14th.

The varsity football players had a hand in designing the Balfour state ring. A community celebration will be held shortly to commemorate and celebrate the 2010 state championship.

The Six Man Coaches Association will release the list of All-State team members in January. Certainly there will be some Richland Springs players who will receive all-state honors.

Attendance is so important to student success. Please help your child attend school everyday. Education is the key to success!
