A cork placed on top of the water will float on the surface. If it is pressed down 10 feet, or 50, or even 100 feet below the surface, and released, it will rise again. But, if it be pressed down 200 feet below the surface, it cannot rise again. The cork will collapse for the pressure being so great.

So it is with man, when he sinks to the depths of sin. The greater the persistence in sin, the less probability of one ever rising again out of sin. Take care how you live! See you in church!
