Sometimes, we have burning questions or are just curious about something….if you find yourself in this situation regarding San Saba ISD we have an outlet for you. New to the SSISD website is a link called "Ask the Superintendent". This link is provided so that folks can ask me a question they may have about our school district. Of course, we would much rather visit with patrons and parents on an individual basis in person, but if it is not convenient to come in, you can now ask me a question via the website and I will respond. However, individual student information and specific information about employees will need to be discussed through traditional means and in person. Remember, too it is always our choice that teachers and principals be given every opportunity to answer your questions at the campus level. However, if you have a question about the District in general or if you have a question and don’t know who to ask, go to the website and click on the link "Ask the Superintendent" and I will try to help you out.

We are constantly striving for good communication strategies. We can never communicate enough and we hope that this will help provide a means of communication that will be easy and convenient for our patrons and parents.

We hope that your Christmas Holiday will be extra special and will be safe! Please help your kiddos to come back to school on January 3, 2011 ready to tackle the second semester of school. The central office and the campuses will be closed from Monday, December 20 – Friday, December 31.

Please visit www.san-saba.net to view events and find information you need to know about SSISD. As well, don’t forget to sign up for the "alerts" available from the website, and don’t miss the opportunity to sign up for the Parent Portal giving parents access to grades and attendance. Parents, let us know how we can help you the first day of school all the way until the last day of school!! If you have any question about this article or any other question about school happenings please contact me at 325/372-3144 or email me at lglaze@san-saba.net . We are San Saba! We are together!
