Eta Omicron Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma International met December 11, 2010, in the home of Mikie Bishop in San Saba. Present were Lavada McCoury of San Saba and from Lampasas there were Julia Phillips, Carolyn Butts, June Davis, and guest Diane Davis.

After a brief business meeting chaired by President Phillips, a round of Chinese gift exchange was played as recorded Christmas Carols filled the room. A Christmas Brunch was enjoyed before filling courtesy Christmas bags for seven members who have been unable to attend meetings.

The next meetings will be Town Meetings in Lampasas and San Saba sometime during the month of January 2011. Ruthie Martin will be in charge of the one in Lampasas and Mrs. McCoury will chair the one in San Saba. Members will be contacted as to the dates and meeting places.

The last meeting of the Chapter year will be on May 9, 2011, at 5:30 p.m. at Kline Whitis Elementary School in Lampasas. Hostesses will be Virginia Hamilton, Mrs. Butts, and Shelly Meyers. The program will be on technology. Members are obligated to attend at least two meetings and these two are the last chances for many of the members.
