FCCLA STAR Event teams have been hard at work finding sponsors, gathering and saving to prepare for their up coming competition and events. The "Go Blue Team", made up of Allison Christian, Allison Nettleship, and Jessica Ramirez, decided to create a raffle to help the San Saba Child Welfare Board buy presents for needy children this holiday season. They raffled off a $50 Harry’s gift card, an espresso machine donated by Sisters' Country Store, and a pecan basic from Alamo Pecan.

They sold tickets at peddlers and during the parade. The winners of the drawing are: Celia Bell won the espresso machine, Gilberto won the pecan basket, and Jerry Deaver won the Harry’s gift card. Thank you to everyone for their support! They are still collecting toys for needy children. You may drop toys off at the courthouse through Friday, Dec. 17th.
