Cherokee ISD is trying to increase interest in reading so we are asking for your help.

We are in need of some recent editions of magazines (hunting, fishing, beauty, good housekeeping, Ranger Rick, Sports, Kids, etc.). If you have these magazines and would like to donate them, please bring them by the office. We ask that you please help make sure that all magazines are appropriate for our students.

Michael, Michelle, Matt and Meagan Murray have all been sick with strepthroat. They are feeling better now.

Last Sunday evening there was a campus Christmas Party for the Children atCherokee Home. They were served Taco Soup and Chili for dinner then all the fun began. After the gifts were opened, they were served punch and cookies.

Join the Cherokee Community around the big tree at the Methodist Church on December 18 at 6:00 p.m. Please bring cookies. Hot Chocolate and Taco Soup will be provided. Good Christmas Music filling the air. Caroling together by the tree. A special visit from Santa. Be sure and bring your camera.

Christmas Open House at the Duggans will be Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Great holiday foods, drinks and good community fellowship. Everyone welcome. The Cherokee Baptist Church Christmas program will be this Sunday night starting at 6:00 p.m. The Choir will have a Christmas production. The children will also have a program. Refreshments served after the program. Everyone is invited.If you have news, please drop it off at the Cherokee Grocery or send it to sroad@centex.net. Please pray for our soldiers.
