The Upper Colorado River Authority (UCRA) will be hosting a stakeholder meeting for the development of the Brady Creek Watershed Protection Plan on December 16, 2010 at Jacoby's Cafe´ in Melvin, Texas. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:00 a.m. Members from UCRA in San Angelo will provide a general overview of the project, water quality concerns and impairments.

This plan will be a locally driven effort by the residents and landowners along the Brady Creek Watershed from McCulloch, San Saba, Concho and Menard Counties. The plan, when completed, will be used as a guide to improve and protect water quality and quantity within the watershed. Also, a steering committee composed of the members will be organized to provide the oversight for the project.
