The JV boys basketball teams are in full swing. We are fortunate enough to have enough kids to carry two JV teams. Whenever possible, we will play all three teams. Many times we combine as 1 large group depending on what our opponent has. Our JV basketball team members include: Isaac Zepeda, Kolton Ellis, Luis Vega, Sean Argote, Aaron Rixse, Kelan Verette, Ryan Guidroz, Ismael Ramirez, Russell Lowe, Joe Lindsey, Aaron Perez, Ruston Ellis, Dallas Caldwell, Ruben Aguirre, Moises Vega. All these young men have worked very hard. At this point we have had more games than practices, but these kids come to the gym ready to go, game or practice!

On Tuesday Nov. 23

After the Thanksgiving break, the boys traveled to Johnson City on Tues. Nov. 30. The boys pulled out a win, 41-35. Scoring for the Dillos were: L Vega (4), Guidroz (17), Lowe (12), Perez (2), and R. Ellis (6).

The JV teams (combined) played in the San Saba tourney Dec. 2 and 3. On December 2 the boys won another close game, this time beating Ingram JV 36-34. Scoring for the Dillos: L. Vega (10), Guidroz (7), Lowe (2), Perez (10) and R. Ellis (7). On Friday the boys played two tough games. The first game of the day the Dillos fell to Hamilton, 37-21. Scoring for the Dillos was: L. Vega (1), Rixse (2), Verette (4), Guidroz (6), Lowe (2), and Perez (6). Later the same day the Dillos fell to Lampasas JV by the score of 34-27. Scoring for the Dillos in this game was: Zepeda (4_, Argote (4), Guidroz (7), Lowe (2), Perez (6), and R. Ellis (4). Lampasas won the JV division with a 3-0 record.
