The San Saba Ladies Golf Assoication met December 2, 2010 for the monthly business meeting with the following ladies present: Jo Anne Hardy, Sandee Hartley, Bobbie Churchill, Jo Ann Snow, Dorothy Sterner, and Anita Miles.

The President, Anita Miles, called the meeting to order and opened the meeting with prayer led by Jo Anne Hardy. The Secretary, Jo Anne Hardy, read the minutes from October and November and they were approved as read. The secretary pointed out that we had not voted on the slate of officers and it was then a unanimous vote for the officers. The Treasurer, Bobbie Churchill, gave the financial report. The president announced that the Christmas party will be December 10, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the San Saba River Golf Course RV Club Room. Please bring a donation for the Ministerial Alliance in lieu of gifts. It will be a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings. Jo Anne Hardy graciously volunteered to do the decorations again this year.

If you haven’t paid your dues for 2011 please do so as soon as possible. You may pay Bobbie Churchill and we’d love to have any prospective members to come to our Christmas Party.

The meeting adourned with three ladies playing golf with a game of Low Net and Low Gross. Low Gross went to Sandee Hartley and Low Net to Dorothy Sterner. Jo Ann Snow also played and Bobbie Churchill rode with the ladies and enjoyed the beautiful day. Sandee scored the only birdie and won the low putt pot. This is a new game of putts. Each lady puts a penny in for each putt and then the pot goes to the low putter for the day.

Christmas is in the air and we must be mindful of the reason for the season and be thankful for all our blessings and one of them is we’re still "swinging"!
