If you heard a loud rumble or felt the earth shake Saturday it wasn’t an earthquake. It was the motor cycle group that brings Christmas gifts to the children at Cherokee Home for Children every year. There were over 80 bikes and several cars and trucks that came for the party. Santa and Mrs. Claus came and lots of elves. The children were very excited and the adults had a great time as well. The children were given bike rides too. A special thank you to all that came to the Suggs Christmas open house. It was such a fun afternoon. We are blessed to have such a great community to live in. Thank you again from Doug and Cyndi Suggs. Debbie and Rick Duggar had their grandchildren visiting over the week-end. They have three beautiful granddaughters. Esther Cox and her daughter Amy were on a cruise last week-end. They left Galveston on Thursday and returned on Monday. The cruise went to Cozumel. Dan and Seth weren’t invited!

The Scott and White Blood Drive will be Tuesday, December 14 at the Cherokee Church of Christ.

The Cherokee High School Basketball Tournament is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

If you have news, drop it off at the Cherokee Grocery or send it to sroad@centex.net.

Please pray for your Youth…..
