Joan Byerly, 84, of San Saba, TX passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Llano Memorial Hospital.

Joan was born on August 19, 1926 in San Saba, TX to Jess Banta and Marie Fry Banta.

Joan is survived by her sons, John Harkey and his wife Donna of Benbrook, TX; Bruce Harkey and his wife Jennifer of San Saba, TX; her grandchildren, Jessica Harkey, Chandler Harkey, Leah Wheeler and her husband Clint of Burleson,TX; Lyn Harkey of Austin, TX; John Harkey Jr. of Austin, TX; her greatgrandchildren, Caden Wheeler and McKenzie Wheeler.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darrell Banta.

Her ashes will be scattered somewhere special to the family.
