Christmas on the Square and Parade this Saturday

The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas on the Square Celebration will be held Saturday, December 11th.

The day begins with Impact 2000 Plus’ Breakfast with Santa at the Father’s House from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. This event is free and will include refreshments, pictures with Santa, and lots of fun!

At 5:00 p.m. parade entries will line up at 8th and Wallace. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. and travel down Wallace, around the East side of the Courthouse and back up Commerce. The parade will not be judged this year; everyone is asked to come out, PUT LIGHTS ON YOUR ENTRY and HAVE FUN!

Local merchants will remain open until 8 p.m. for you to do your Christmas shopping, and some will provide refreshments and drawings.

There will be food vendors on the Square during the evening selling hamburgers, cotton candy, and popcorn. There will also be vendors selling candles, jewelry, etc.
