Students and staff arrived back Monday, rested from the Thanksgiving holiday. There are only three school weeks left in the first semester. The last day of school for the semester will be Friday, December 17

The Richland Springs’ 4-H club under the guidance of Valerie Gossett held their monthly meeting on December 1st after school. These students are learning citizenship skills that will last a lifetime. The 4-H students are great stewards of our campus. Thanks 4-H!

The Christmas play will be presented at the Richland Springs Cafetorium on Sunday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. The play is directed by Patsy Hall. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the performance. The public is invited to attend.

The Lady Coyote basketball team is off to a great start with a record of 4 wins/1 loss. They are exciting to watch. Congrats to Coach Pam Starr and the Lady Coyotes, and keep up the effort!

The Varsity Coyotes survived a quarterfinals barn-burner with a 66-58 win over a very good Calvert team. Fans braved the chilly weather and a long drive to Moody to support the Coyotes on the ROAD TO STATE. With the victory the Coyotes go into a semifinals match-up with the Milford Bulldogs. The semifinals game against Milford will be played in Comanche on Friday, December 3

THE ROAD TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

th. Students return back to school on January 4, 2011.rd; beginning at 7:30 p.m. Richland Springs is visiting team and will sit on the visitor’s side. Ticket prices for the game are $6 Adults/$4 Students. Again, congratulations to all the coaches and players on a great game last Friday night at Moody. The cheerleaders led the way with road signs and spirit. Come out and support our young athletes in UIL competition, you won’t be disappointed. Bring your noisemakers and join the fun at Comanche this Friday. Coyote fans are loud and proud!
