A Biblical Gem

1 Corinthians 15:44 "It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." + 50 " Now this I say, brethren, That flesh and blood can not enter the kingdom of God: neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

We will again take a writing from the great Apostle Paul for a message that should remove all fear concerning the death of our flesh and blood body. All persons are now living in a natural body that is mortal. Anything that is mortal is subject to death, and death always brings corruption and destruction. At death our natural, (mortal) , body will be sown; which is the way Paul chose to be buried and we know it will see corruption and return to the dust from whence it came. But our spirits and soul will return unto God Who gave them. Then scripture teaches our spirits will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and God will give them a new spiritual body that will be immortal and will never see death or corruption. Immortal means, (can not die), and all spiritual things will be eternal. Scripture also teaches God will give our spirits a body that pleases Him. Please Not;e Paul did not mention a rapture, nor any change for our former mortal bodies. After they are buried, these flesh bodies will never be raised nor changed. In any way. They will never be used again. All people who have lived a faithful Christian life will be given a new beautiful immortal and eternal body. I believe God will reward faithful Christians with the most beautiful bodies as an eternal reward for their faith.

This is all Biblical and the way it will be; but the message that is important for us to believe is found in what Paul said in the 50th verse. "Now this I say, brethren; flesh and blood can not enter the Kingdom Of God: neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." That clearly means our mortal bodies will see corruption and can never inherit a life of incorruption to enter heaven. But don't let this confuse nor bother you. After death our spirits and soul will be released from our mortal bodies and God promises to give our spirits a new immortal body that will never see death or corruption. If you will study the scriptures that makes all this clear, you can develop a decision that physical death can be a wonderful experience and our greatest blessing. If flesh and blood can not enter God's Kingdom which is heaven; but our spirits can be given an immortal body that can enter that eternal heaven; then you will conclude that death is a necessary event to give us eternal life. If we agree with this as true Biblical teaching we will also agree that death is a necessary step to eternal life in God's eternal kingdom which makes it a needed and wonderful event that can be our greatest blessing. Now you can probably explain this scriptural teaching better than I have herein; but my hope is that you can believe Paul wrote it with the help of the Holy Spirit of God that was given to the him. It is a spiritual message that God permitted to become part of His Word, we know as the Bible. Please give this serious thought and it will take away all fear of death and give you a powerful faith.
