Juan Antonio Martinez, 79, of Goldthwaite, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at his home.

Juan was born September 4, 1931 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Julian and Celia Cardona Martinez. Juan lived in Mills County most of his life, was a farmer/rancher, and was also a member of the Catholic Church.

Juan was survived by two brothers, Genaro C. Martinez and Gustavo C. Martinez and wife Hortencia; a sister, Mari Lou Cardona; nephew, like a son & his spouse, Mike Martinez & Violanda; two nephews, Julian A. Martinez and Juan Jose Martinez; and four nieces, Rosalinda Martinez, Dolores Martinez, Lupe Martinez, and Lorena R. Puentes.

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Big Valley Cemetery in Mills County, TX with Richard Menchaca officiating. Interment was at Big Valley Cemetery.

Funeral services were under the direction of Stacy-Williams Funeral Home in Goldthwaite, Texas.
