James Wyatt Jr, 65, of Richland Springs, TX, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Central Texas Medical Center Hospital in San Marcos, TX.

James was born January 6, 1945 in Menard, TX, to James Wyatt Sr. and Edna Chadwick Wyatt. James and Rhonda Boldt were united in marriage on February 13, 2005 in San Saba, TX. James served in the U.S. Navy for eight years and also served in the U.S. Air Force for fourteen years, from that which he retired. James was also a member of the Prairie Lea Baptist Church.

James was survived by his wife Rhonda Wyatt of Richland Springs, TX; his sons, Darryl Wyatt of Austin, TX; David Wyatt of Fredricksburg, TX; Rod Wyatt of Whidbey Island, WA; Khalid Wyatt of Richland Springs, TX; his daughters, Suzanne Wyatt of San Marcos, TX; Halima Wyatt of San Marcos, TX; his grandchildren, Austin James Wyatt of Fredricksburg, TX.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Clarence Feist; and one daughter, Melissa Wyatt.

Funeral services were held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Richland Springs with Rev. Barry Fikes officiating and Rev. Joel Densman assisting. Interment was at the Varga Cemetery. Families received friends at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

The families ask that all memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Richland Springs.
