Artists Wanted for Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair Commemorative Poster Contest - Community News - San Saba News & Star

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Official Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair, the Texas Arts & Crafts Educational Foundation is seeking entries for the Commemorative Poster Contest that thematically celebrate the Fair’s 40 year history of promoting fine arts and crafts in the State of Texas. The contest is now open to artists of any age. The winner will receive a $500 cash award, recognition as the Official Poster Artist of the Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair, 25 posters, a gicleé of the winning artwork, and two separate gallery shows in Kerrville. The Commemorative Poster Contest is sponsored by River’s Edge Gallery.

The application deadline is January 15, 2011. Artists of all ages are encouraged to apply at www.theartoftexas.com.
