Services for Guy Daryl McDaniel 87, of Harker Heights were at 11 AM Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Killeen City Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Towers officiating. Mr. McDaniel passed away on November 18, 2010 in Temple.

He was born June 10, 1923 to Denzil and Augusta McNatt McDaniel in Lordsburg, NM., he moved to Texas at a very young age.

He served four years in the Navy before settling in Killeen, He was the assistant manager for William Cameron Lumber Co. in Killeen before purchasing McDaniel Firestone which he owned and operated for 23 years.

He later worked as a real estate broker and served as President for the Kiwanis Club.

He was an avid golfer and passed his love of the game on to his grandson spending many hours on the golf course with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dwight McDaniel.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Rosylene Levy McDaniel of Harker Heights, a daughter Jan Isdale and husband Stan of Harker Heights, one grand son Shay Isdale and wife Erica of Austin, a sister Jean Hutson and husband J.C. of Lake LBJ and several nieces and nephews.
