R.J. and Patsy drove to San Antonio Sunday to watch their son Mickey along with 22,000 more run the marathon and the half-marathon. It was a cool morning and Micky said, "it was perfect for running 26 miles".

The 80th birthday celebration was held for Jack Daniels not Jack McDaniels as reported in the Bend News.

Some members of the Clark family were on the move this past weekend. Jane, Jamie Houdyshell and Kristi Messer along with the four grand-kids attended the Renaissance Festival near Houston. The kids enjoyed the rides that were different from your everyday carnival rides, as there were no electric powered rides. Jane reported that the firework display was one of the best that she had ever seen and she has seen a few. The costumes were beautiful.

The men in the family stayed home. Doug Messer and a friend fished over the weekend. Bobby Clark of Round Rock came in and hunted once again, but still

no buck. No mention of what William did, but you can bet he wasn’t sitting around twilling his thumbs.
