The San Saba Senior Center group, "Recycled Creations," has been busily putting together some beautiful recycled holiday greeting cards. There are Thanksgiving cards and Christmas cards, plus a variety of all occasion cards available. The cards sell for 25 cents each, (including an envelope) and the proceeds go to raise money for the Senior Center Memorial Garden project. Please come by the Center to purchase your holiday cards.

The Center also needs help with donations of exercise equipment. The treadmill, which is used every day by many of our seniors, has ceased to function. Attempted repairs have not helped. If anyone has a treadmill they would consider donating to the Center, it would be greatly appreciated. The Center is also looking for an elliptical machine and a recumbent bicycle to replace several other older pieces of equipment. Small hand weights of two or three pounds, resistance bands or tubes would also be appreciated. The Center has a Healthy Lifestyles support group which is open to anyone who would like to improve their health. It meets on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. at the San Saba Senior Center located at 705 E. Storey, 325-372-5833.
