San Saba’s First Baptist Church to present " A Christmas Carol - The Musical"
Thursday, November 18, 2010 • Posted November 18, 2010

The time is 1843. The place is London England. It’s Christmas Eve and penny-pinching old Ebenezer Scrooge is about to have the most sleepless night of his life. His Technicolor dreams come to life on stage as he is visited by Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future as well as his deceased partner, Jacob Marley, who just happened to die seven years previously on Christmas Eve. They show him the error of his ways and convince him that it’s never too late to open your heart and get the Christmas Spirit. Among the wonderful characters in this version, as well as Ebenezer at various ages, are Ebenezer’s poorly paid employee Bob Cratchit, Bob’s disabled son Tiny Tim, the Cratchit family, Ebenezer’s nephew Fred and his wife and family, young Ebenezer’s fiancé, Emily, jovial banker Mr. Fezziwig and Mrs. Fezziwig.

You don’t want to miss this wonderful musical version of the classic story. Members of San Saba’s First Baptist Church make up the cast and crew for this musical. Invite your friends and family to attend this event that is sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Admission is free for this Christmas musical. Please join us December 3
