Two teams remain in playoffs

Two of three San Saba County teams that qualified for their respective playoffs remain in the hunt for a state title.

The San Saba Armadillos defeated the Karnes City Badgers last Friday night. San Saba will play the Schulenburg Shorthorns this Friday at 7:30 at Pflugerville.

Richland Springs beat Buckholts. They will be up against the Jonesboro Eagles this Friday night in Comanche at 7:30.

Cherokee was defeated last Friday by the Calvert Trojans 22-29.

Congratulations to all San Saba County teams on a great regular season and in qualifying for the playoffs.

Good Luck to the Coyotes and Armadillos this week.
