Richland Springs presented the 2008 class with diplomas at graduation ceremonies. Bob and Mary McLean were guest speakers for the ceremonies and gave graduates advice on what it will take for them to find success. Scholarships to graduates totaled $18,200.

Project Graduation activities were held at the school cafetorium and ended at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Project Graduation provides an alcohol-free environment for students to celebrate graduation. These were a great group of seniors who have provided good leadership for our school.

Tutorials for students failing portions of the grade 3, 5, & 8 TAKS will begin on June 16th. Reading tutorials will be from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and math tutorials will be from 10:00 a.m.-noon from June 16-June 30. Contact the school for further information.

If you see a teacher in public, tell them how much you appreciate their efforts.

We have a great community, students, teachers and staff.
