Receipts totaled 5109 head for the week. The market was active and demand strong on a choice offering of calves and yearlings. A little over 1000 head were sold in the Premium Weaned Calf sale which saw a string of 67 head of 683 lb. steers bring $1.12 and a set of 32 heifers weighing 681 lbs @106.75. The stocker steers were in strong demand going to wheat grazing and were $2 to $4 and in some instances $6 higher. Stocker heifers were steady to $3 higher. The bigger feeder steers were $2 to $3 higher and heifers were steady to $1 higher. Packer cows and bulls were $1 higher.

: choice lightweight calves 115-137, choice medium weight calves 100-140, choice heavyweight calves 95-106

Yearlings:

choice lightweight steer yearlings 100-108, choice heavyweight steer yearlings 95-100.50, choice lightweight heifer yearlings 92-101, choice heavyweight heifer yearlings 85-89, #2 steer calves and yearlings 92-115, #2 heifer calves and yearlings 85-105, shorties and plainer calves and yearlings 75-85

Bred Cows:

choice bred cows 800-860, medium to good bred cows 750-850, plainer and older bred cows 630-740

Slaughter Cows: high yield 53-58, medium yield 47-52, low yield 40-46, heiferetts and young stock 60-85
