San Saba High School National Honor Society holds induction ceremony
Thursday, November 11, 2010 • Posted November 11, 2010

The San Saba Chapter of the National Honor Society recently had its fall induction ceremony at Armadillo Arena. Senior members Haylee Oliver, Tarah Crosby, Jose Vega, Jaena Edwards, Tucker Cromer, Rebeca Paredes and Jack Whitten conducted the formal ceremony and presented speeches on the four qualities for membership; leadership, character, service and scholarship. A junior or senior must have a 4.5 cumulative average to be considered for NHS. New inductees were announced and invited to light candles as Tarah Crosby sang "The Love Chapter" accompanied by her father, Reverend Sam Crosby.

The membership pledge was recited and various school administrators gave encouraging and congratulatory remarks. A reception was held in the foyer afterward for all the members of National Honor Society and their family members who were able to attend.
