The Cherokee Indians captured 2

The Indians got the scoring started on the second play from scrimmage on a 58 yard pass play from Nieves Solis to Stephen Austermann. Josh Brown scored the next TD on an 18 yard interception return. Both PATs failed.

Midway through the quarter, Tucker Corsi scored on a 21 yard run. Cham Fox kicked the PAT. The Indians led 20-0.

Ryan Breadner ended the next Bulldog possession with a fumble recovery. This led to a 3 yard TD run by Brown with Fox adding the PAT. The Indian’s lead was up to 36-0.

The Indians will play #2 ranked Calvert at Oglesby this Friday at 7:30. Colt McCoy and the Browns have taken on the mighty Saints and the mighty Patriots and beat both teams handily. On any given day, any team can be beaten. Let’s make Friday Calvert’s day to be beaten. Come out and support the Indians.

The next Indian TD came on a 41 yard pass play from Solis to EJ Borchers. The PAT failed. The Bulldogs scored their lone TD on a 25 yard pass play with 4:51 left in the half. Their PAT was good. The Indians led 42-8. Brown scored his next TD on a 35 yard run with 2:59 remaining until halftime. Fox’s kick was good. Brown scored the final TD of the game on a 43 yard run with 2:11 on the clock. Fox kicked the PAT to make the score 58-8.
