Meta Watkins, 53, of San Saba passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, Tx.

Meta was born January 11, 1957 in Austin, Tx, to Hugh William Rieck and Louise Hill Rieck. Robert Watkins and Meta were united in marriage on November 21,1981 in Austin, Tx. Meta was a housewife and a member of The First Baptist Church of San Saba.

Meta is survived by her husband, Robert Watkins of San Saba; sons, Andy Watkins of San Saba and Aaron Watkins of San Saba; mother, Louise Rieck of Austin; sisters, Anita Campbell and her husband Glenn of Morgan Hills, California and Sara Sikes and her husband Sam of Liberty Hill, Tx; nieces and nephews, Ann Sikes, Elizabeth Sikes, and Elam Campbell.

Meta is preceded in death by her father, H.W. Rieck.

Services were held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Crosby Officiating and Rev. Bobby Lovell assisting.

Interment was held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. at the Junction City Cemetery.

A visitation was held Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.

The family requests Memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
