The first frost came last Wednesday for some of us who live around the Bend. It wasn’t a hard frost, but did nip some of the more tender plants. Everyone

will be bringing in the plants if not already done so.

The trick or treaters were out and around the Bend Sunday night making the rounds to get goodies. Deidra Nixon and her children Sean and Ethan of The Woodlands came in over the weekend to visit her parents and to take the boys trick-or- treating. From all accounts the boys had a good time and many pictures were taken of them making the rounds.

Catherine Hicks was ill and unable to make the rounds with others who was out trick-or-treating Sunday night.

Phillip Morse has been spreading his good will and humor around the Llano hospital as of Friday. They will be shooing him home maybe Tuesday if not before. Three of his buddies, R.J. Henniger, Dickie Eckhoff and Tommy Pulatie went to visit him and spread their cheer. Tommie and Jane Tinney also dropped in to check on his progress. They were out celebrating their

wedding anniversary and since they were in Llano decided to check on him.

No news from the Clark household this week. Things have been quiet on that front this past week.

attended church with the family.

Richard and Tami Matsler of Arlington were in over the weekend and enjoy lunch in the home of Rufus and Tommye, and the Peters family Sunday after
