Lylah Kathleen Mills was born September 17, 2010 at 9:36 p.m. at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital in Fort Worth, TX, to Stephanie and Chase Mills. Lylah weighed 6 pounds, 13.5 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was welcomed at the hospital by proud grandparents, Patsy and Grant Hall and Kathy and Joe Ellis, Jr. Other hospital visitors included great aunt and uncle, Cheryl and Mike Hinyard and family friends, Doug, Ana, and Juliana Ketcham and Jeremy Speckmann. Paternal grandparents are Harold and Debby Mills of Kermit. Great-grandparents are Lucille Ellis and the late Joe Ellis of the Sloan Community, the late M.O. "Buster" and Kathleen Tripp of Richland Springs, Patsy Mills and the late H.G. Mills of DeKalb, the late Marie Blackstock and the late L.D. Blackstock of Wink. Lylah Kathleen is the third generation of the name Kathleen, named after her mother, Stephanie Kathleen Ellis Mills and great-grandmother, Kathleen Warren Tripp.
