The Fall Festival will be held on the Cherokee Football Field Saturday night; pumpkin carving and meal at 5:00 p.m.; costume judging 5:30p.m.; carnival 6:00p.m. There will be many booths and great food in the concession stand. The children will also be doing their Trick or Treating on Saturday night.

Relay for Life Kick-Off Dinner will be on Monday, November 2, at the San Saba Church of Christ. It’s a free chicken spaghetti, salad, and dessert dinnner.

Funeral Services were held last Thursday at the Baptist Church for Gene Walker. Gene had turned 101 in September. He was a great man and will be missed by family and friends. We extend our sympathy to his daughter, Mary Catherine Walker Holly....
