Smallwood Reunion

The descendant of the late John Reece Smallwood and Almira Woodward Smallwood met at the home of Ann and the late J.M. Bearden Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 for their annual reunion with their children, Mary and Jerry Williams, and Jymie and Byron Reno and Chuck and Karla Bearden as hosts.

Family members began gathering for the reunion early Sunday morning. After warm greetings and many hugs, there was lots of visiting, taking pictures, sharing memories and working on the Smallwood genealogy.

Picnic tables and chairs were set up and after Chuck said the blessing, a delicious pot luck lunch was enjoyed by all.

Family members attending were Harvey and Gloria Ivy, Irving TX; Cassandra Champion and her dad, Bill Champion, Katy, TX; Margaret Ivy Landgrebe Westhoff and her daughter, Lillian Smith of Gonzales, TX; Connie and Harold Hovde and their grandson, Jim Brandon Chase, Arlington, TX; Jeriann Cox and freind, James Moore, San Angelo, TX; Jeremy Holmes and children, Hunter and Rowdy and Jeremy's fiancee, Leasha Klotz, Sunrise Beach, TX; Ronnie B. Holmes and children, Breck and Kailey, Bertman, TX; Brett and Kathy Bearden Loeffler and children, Kamryn and Trevor, Mason, TX; Mary and Jerry Williams, Burnet, TX; Jymie and Byron Reno, Bertram, TX; and Billy Charles (Chuck ) and Karla Bearden, Mason, TX; Carla Carr, Georgetown, TX; Doyce and Lillie Nelson, Zephyr, TX; Nell and Denver Way, Zephyr, TX; Jim and Vera Ralston, Richland Springs, TX.

Good freinds and neighbors attending were Mike and Gale Ivy, San Saba, TX.

Ann and children will host the reunion next year, last Sunday in September. All family and friends are invited.
