Health Fair to be held November 2nd

After you are finished voting on Election Day, be sure and come by the San Saba Health Fair at the Civic Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Booths will include: Family Service Center, Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center, Scooter Plus, Brady Home Health, Enchanted Rock State Park, Texas State Health Services, Area Agency on Aging, Lighthouse Hospice, MPS, Medical Supply, TxDOT, LLano Memorial Healthcare System-Hospice, Brownwood Regional Medical Center, Scott & White Bone Marrow, Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Central Texas Council of Governments, HCCAA Family Planning, Texas Health Steps, Oak Ridge Manor, Outreach Health Services, Chatfield Assisted Living, Hill Country Transit District, American Red Cross, Scott & White Hospital, Central Texas Poison Control, American Cancer Society, Off The Beaten Path Ministries, Guardian Home Health/Velita Smith Home Health, Air Evac, Goldthwaite Health & Rehab, Care Nursing and Rehabilitation, Donate Life.

Flu shots will be available from the Texas Department of State Health Services for $20.00 or free with medicare. The youth flu shot will also be available. Blood pressure checks will also be available as well as blood oxygen. Persons needing a ride can call IHOP at 254-718-9666. At press time, it was not available if cholesterol screenings would be available.
