James "Andy" Wells Sr.

James "Andy" Wells Sr. of Priddy, TX passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 88 years.

Andy was born February 3, 1922 to Zack and Callie Edmondson Wells in San Saba, TX.

On October 23, 1944, Andy married Queen Martha "Quincy" Huffstetler in Freer, Texas. They moved from Bronte, TX to Goldthwaite in 1968.

Andy was a Navy WW II Veteran, a member of the Baptist Church and retired from Exxon Oil Company.

Visitation will be at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, October 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Services for Andy Wells will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thurdsay, October 21, 2010 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home with interment at San Saba City Cemetery.

Andy is survived by his wife, Quincy of Priddy; son and his spouse, Jim and Sheila Wells of Goldthwaite; daughter and spouse, Pat and Don Barber of Walnut Springs, Tx; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Wells of Ballinger, TX.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Cody and Ellen Wells, Christy Beets, April and Lindsey Wetzig, Chris and Jenny Garrett, and Elizabeth and Michael King; great-grandchildren, Corey Beets, Hunter, Gage and Callie Wells, Captain Garrett, AJ, Jack and Ben Wetzig.

Preceding Andy in death were his parents, Zack and Callie Wells, a son, Robert Martin "Bob" Wells, and two brothers, George and Martin Wells.
