Andrea Jimenez, 77, of San Saba passsed away on Monday, October 18, 2010 at a local care facility.

Andrea was born February 4, 1933 in San Saba County to Roman Coronado and Hilaria Ramirez Coronado.

Andrea was a cook in the restuarant industry and was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church and was a member of The Ladies Of Saint Mary’s.

Andrea is survived by her sons, Dario Jimenez and wife Susie of San Saba; Javier Jimenez and wife Rosa of San Saba; Jose Jimenez of San Saba; and Alejandro Jimenez; her daughters, Sonia Birdwell of McKinney; Maria Belen Meras of Stephenville; her grandchildren, Silvia Jimenez, Andres Jimenez, Jesus Jimenez, Irene Jimenez, Jaime Lea Jimenez, Julie Ann Jimenez, Jacob Daniel Jimenez, Kimberly Kay Birdwell, Xavier Jimenez, Haley Alexandrea Jimenez, Allysin Michelle Jimenez, Talia Gaston, Nicasio Meras, her five grandchildren, her brothers, Prudencio Coronado and wife Mary Lou of Lampasas; Hermino Coronado and wife Virginia of Goldthwaite; Apolonio Coronado and wife Susana of San Saba; her sisters, Julia Perez and husband Joe C. of San Saba; Antonia Torres and husband Louis of Lometa; Juana Coronado of San Saba; Udelia Guerrero of San Saba; Domiana Martinez and husband Rudy of San Saba; and several nieces and nephews.

Andrea is preceded in death by her parents, Roman Coronado and Hilaria Ramirez Coronado; 2 grandsons, Jorge M. Jimenez and Matthew Scott Jimenez; her sisters, Petra Coronado, Candelaria Martinez, Tibrucia Saucillo, and Anastacia Garcia.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba with Father Gilber Gomez officiating.

Interment will be at Barnett Cemetery in San Saba County.

A Rosary will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.

The family requests memorials be made to the San Saba County Volunteer EMS.
