San Saba County Health Fair to be held November 2nd

Begin making plans to attend the annual San Saba County Health Fair to be held Tuesday November 2nd, 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. (election day) at the Civic Center.

This free event is sponsored by the Llano Memorial Health Care System, Hoerster Clinic, Texas AgriLife Extension-San Saba and Brownwood Regional Hospital.

The event offers free screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, blood glucose, etc. that day. Flu Shots will also be available at the fair. A boxed BBQ lunch will be sold by San Saba County 4-H so people can attend during the lunch hour. Numerous educational booths will also be available for participants to look at and pick up free educational materials from.

The Health Fair has been held each year for over 15 years. Anyone interested in having a booth at the Health Fair should call the extension office at 372-5416.
