Extension Education Ladies attend State Meeting

San Saba County Extension Education Clubs were represented at the 83

Members who arrived early on Tuesday could take advantage of Early Bird Workshops. Wednesday began with a general session and then educational workshops.

Special awards were presented for individual, county, and district achievements. Martha Roe Terry was recognized as a 60 year Member and Bertha Griffay as a 65 year member. Mary Jane Dennis received the District 7 Texas Treasure award.

On Friday, October 1, the ladies reported on the events of the state conference at the San Saba E. E. Council meeting which was held at the Wallace Creek School house followed by a covered dish luncheon.
