Eta Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International met Monday, September 27, 2010, in the Lampasas First Street Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. President Julia Phillips presided. Hostesses were Mrs. Phillips, Marion Hammett, and June Davis. Seven members were present.

President Phillips led the group in an opening fun song after Mrs. Davis gave the invocation. Treasurer Lisa Larremore gave the Treasurer's report and collected dues. Absentee members are asked to submit their dues ($46.00 for active members and $24.80 for reserve members) promptly to Mrs. Larremore. Her address is 16330 CR 204, Richland Springs, TX 76871.

President Phillips, Mikie Bishop, and Ruthie Martin participated in a Memorial Ceremony honoring deceased members Kay McKee and Viva Mae Wright.

The Chapter covers Lampasas and San Saba Counties and was organized in 1964. Mrs. McKee and Mrs. Wright were Charter Members. Charter Members Mutsie Crumley, Norma Sue McCann, Wannah Taylor, and Lillie Belle Marley are left to carry the torch.

Following the business meeting, members shared interesting books they had read or were reading. The Meeting closed with the singing of Kelta Kappa Gamma Song.

The next meeting will be on December 11, 2010, at a place and time to be determined. hostesses will be Mrs. Bishop and Mrs. Larremore. Members will be notified later as to the time and place.
