Thursday, September 30, 2010 • Posted September 30, 2010

The Richland Springs High School Junior Class will be serving a complete Mexican Food supper before the Homecoming game this Friday night, October 1st when the Coyotes meet up with the Gustine Tigers. The supper will be in the cafetorium and will be available from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The cost will be a donation to the Junior Class, with the minimum donation being $5.00 each. Students will serve enchiladas, tamales, beans, rice, queso, homemade salsa, chips, and desserts.

Students are celebrating Homecoming week with a week full of activities. Monday was "Blast the Tigers with a Blast from the past". Juniors in the above photo are ready to serve you in the cafetorium and are dressed in their "Blast from the Past" costumes. Students pictured are these: (front row) Denim Reeves, Sara Hedley, Kensie Green, Courtney Herbert, Stormi Davee, and Ben Van Cleave; and (second row) John Greenwood, Winston Poe, Nick Moore, Joey Wood, Wyatt Ramsey, and Joe Avila. Tuesday, students dressed as "nerds" and showed the Tigers how they would outsmart them; Wednesday, everyone wore camouflage in order to show Gustine that the coyotes hide some of their football tricks until the last moment; Thursday, faculty and students dressed as "heroes" because the Coyotes are certainly everyone’s hero; and Friday, everyone will wear blue and white to show spirit and/or a sign-my-tee shirt as they prepare for the downtown, afternoon pep rally.

Please join the Junior Class this Friday night before Homecoming activities in their fundraiser for the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet. Pre-game activities will begin at 7:00 p.m., so everyone has time to come enjoy the delicious meal before the game.
