Thursday, September 23, 2010 • Posted September 23, 2010

Saturday, September 18, 2010 the San Saba Cross Country teams traveled to Ballinger. A very still, hot, very humid day produced some fast results plus some very wet uniforms.

San Saba walked away with seven out of a possible nine second places. No firsts, but nine seconds which is a very odd statistic. The seconds consisted of Varsity girls, 8th grade boys, Hector Paez, Danessa Vasques, Gabe Zimmer, Shellby Buttler, and John Watson. Other medal winners were third place-A.J. Gamboa, fifth-Emiliano Zapata, sixth-Angelica Perez, Ridge Smith, eighth-Alexus Saldivar, ninth-Alexa Maxcey, tenth-Nathaniel Rutherford, Shea Scott, eleventh-Luis Macias, thirteenth-Rebeca Paredes, Logan Guidroz, fourteenth-Yicelle Cuevas.

The next cross country meet will be in Lometa on September 28, 2010 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
