The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met September 16,2010 with the Chair for September, Hattie Rogers, calling for a game of ‘Mutt & Jeff’, where you only count the par threes and par fives plus number 17 as the extra hole less half your handicap. Anita Miles was first and shot the low gross and low net for the day and there was a tie for second between Jo Ann Snow and Dorothy Sterner. Sandee Hartley scored the only birdie of the day and Janet Hoyt chipped in to win the chip in pot. Jo Anne Hardy also played. Bobbie Churchill spent the day with the ladies and did lunch. We are so glad Bobbie keeps on participating even though she can’t play! Marilyn Kerr, Hattie Rogers, Jo Ann Snow, Jo Anne Hardy, Sandee Hartley, and Anita Miles will be attending the Senior Women’s Amateur Golf Tournament on October 5, 2010 at Glen Rose, Texas. This is a tournament all of the ladies look forward to and we usually have winners. So for the rest of this month we will be honing up our game by "swinging!"
