A new ALCO Store will open in San Saba, Texas, on Wednesday, October 13. The store’s Grand Opening celebration will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony for local dignitaries and store staff beginning at 7:45 a.m. Refreshments will be served.

The 22,000 square foot store, located at 152 F-M 1030, will employ 20 associates. The store hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The new San Saba store, which includes several new environmentally friendly initiatives, including pre-insulated wall panels to conserve energy and 100 percent recyclable steel in the roof, ceiling and walls, will offer a line of quality merchandise supplied from the 350,000 square-foot ALCO distribution center in Abilene, Kan.

"We are excited to open our new ALCO store, and we are confident it will meet the needs of shoppers in San Saba and surrounding communities," said store manager David Butler. "We look forward to being involved in the community and serving shoppers with ALCO’s wide selection of merchandise, convenient location and friendly, local service."

Consumers in the area can look for ALCO circulars to arrive by mail or in the local paper. They can also visit the company’s website, www.ALCOstores.com, to view the circular.

For a great gift idea anytime of the year, the company also offers gift cards which can be purchased online or in the store for use in any ALCO store nationwide. The gift cards are available in denominations of $10, $25 and $50. ALCO Stores also offer Senior Discount Day every Monday. Those 62 and older can receive 15 percent off all their purchases on that day.
